2007 Central Division Champion Diamondbacks(18) Season Highlights
The Dbacks started this year off the trail of defeat, having lost twice to the Indians in the previous two Championships! This year, however, was a different story. The Dbacks did an overhaul, having many quality players either leave or play with the 28+ Dbacks, the Dbacks were left with only seven returning players. Not wanting to merge, and definitely not wanting to pack it up, the Dbacks did some recruiting at Clouds in downtown Santa Cruz!
Early on, the Dbacks established themselves with quality pitching and stellar defense — opponents never scored more than 8 runs. Only two teams were able to crack the shell; the Tigers and the championship runner up Reds.
All in all it was a great season with many quality teams! See you all next season — most likely as a different team!.
