The O's jumped out to a 4-1 lead, heading to the top of the 5th inning. The Padres mounted a comeback in this inning, scoring 7 runs, never to relinquish the lead. This rally was started by a 2-run home run by Joe Rondone.

The Padres win their first championship and will be moving up to the Pacific Division.
