Game 1 was a lot different than the score showed. With the Colt 45's down 3-2 in the 9th inning, the Rockies put up 10 runs to secure the victory.

Jesse Palafox pitched a great game giving up 3 earned runs over 6 IP. Mitch Labbie and Yanni Shani led the offense with 2 hits each and Bryan Dyer hit his 3rd home run of the season.

Great pitchers duel between veteran Craig Jones and Rookie Houston Hibberd.
