Steve Konkel made his second start of the season and kept the 45's in for 5 innings. The 45's scored 6 runs in the 3rd and 4th innings to help Konkel get though the game. Sean Gambill made his third appearance for the 45's and pitched 4 innings of 3 hit ball.
Lee Shaffer hit the Colt 45's first home run of the season with a 3 run home run in the 3rd. Emmitt Whitfield led the 45's with 3 hits while Shani, Phillips, Shaffer, Needham, and Labbie also contributed with multi hit days. All Colt 45's in the lineup reached base at least once on the day.
