In a marathon game that lasted nearly 4 hours, O's hang on to pull out the W on Opening Day.
The fighting Phillies pushed two runs in the fourth to tie things up at 5 in the 4th. However, the O's answered right back with 5 runs of their own in the top of the 5th, and followed that up with another 7 runs in the 6th to break the game open.
Phillies never gave up and mounted rallies in late innings to make the game closer.
