Ettare Goes Wood Bat
The 25+ Ettare Division has decided to go complete wood bat in 2014.
Schedule Preview and Playoff Formats
The regular season schedule is currently in production and scheduled to be released soon. In the meantime, you can view a preliminary schedule on the Schedule page to get a look at off-days and begin scheduling your summer vacations.
Opening Day will be May 4 (April 27 Rained Out) and the regular season is scheduled to conclude on August 24.
Playoffs will begin on August 24 for the Nicewonger and Ettare divisions and September 7 for the Dunn division. 17 of the league's 23 teams will qualify for the post season.
18+ Nicewonger Division and 25+ Dunn Division
Top five teams will earn playoff berths. The 4th and 5th place teams will play a one game sudden death "play in" game with the winner moving on to the best-of-three semi-final round. Winners of the semi-final round will compete in a best-of-three final.25+ Ettare Division
Top seven teams qualify for the playoffs.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams receive first weekend byes directly into best-of-three semi-final series.
4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th place teams participate in a single-elimination SURVIVOR SUNDAY with the last team standing getting the 4th and final spot in semi-finals.
Winners of the semi-finals move on to a best-of-three final.
All-Star Game
The Dave Nicewonger All-Star Classic will be in July at San José Municipal Stadium. Details will be announced later.
