The Giants tooks an early 1-0 lead in the first, but the Indians came back and scored one in the 2nd and 1 in the 5th to take a 2-1 lead. In the bottom of the 5th, Mike Boesch knocked in Rich Zuvella with a single to left to tie the game at 2. Matt Zuvella followed with a base hit to right that plated Chris Denevi with the go ahead run. Mike Denevi hit a double to right center that drove in 2 to give the Giants a 5-2 lead. Chris Chambers capped off the scoring with a deep Sac Fly to right that scored Denevi. After that, Mike Denevi shut down the Indians enroute to a complete game victory. Mike gave up 1 earned run, scattered 9 hits and struck out 6 in the Giants 10-2 victory.
The Giants advance to the Championship series with the win.
