De Anza - Game 1
Royals 8
Reds 3

Royals Win Nicewonger Division Championship 2-0.

WP: Baldwin (3-1). SV: Connolly.
HR >> Royals: Rodrigues, Hutchison. Reds: Esparza.

Tim Baldwin went 8 strong innings keeping the Reds quiet for most of the day!

Vic Gonzales (SS) had a stellar day in the field making several tough plays to back the Royal pitching.

Steve Connolly came in and closed the door in the ninth to pick up the save.

It was one of the better games the Royals played all year with all 3 phases working together. Royal bats came through when they needed them most. Rich Rodrigues opened up the scoring in the 2nd with a solo shot to left. Ray Hutchison had a 2-run shot to right to go along with a single and double making up a huge day for the Royal 2 batter. Johnny Angleson had 3 hits as well and saw at least 25 pitches on the day in the leadoff spot! Randolph Sandoval capped off an MVP type season with 2 more hits to help the Royals get back-to-back 18+ titles!

Thank you to everyone for another great season. 3-peat??
