Twins played great ball all season and will be a force again next year.

Royals advance behind a stellar pitching effort by Tim Baldwin followed by Steve Connolly. Royal defense was stout flipping several nice double plays! The Royal offense was propelled by multi-hit games from Johnny Angleson, Randolph Sandoval, Brian Thomas, and Ryan Becks!

Royals will play the winner of 18+ legends Reds/Mets next week.

The Giants scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th to walk off with a 7-6 win.

With one out, Hick Hibberd started the Giants rally with a double to the left field wall. After Chris Denevi's single moved Huck to 3rd, Harold Sutherland lined a base hit to center to drive in the tying run. With runners at the corners, Noah sweeters hit a ground ball to 3rd and beat the throw to 1st as the Indians tried to turn the double play. Denevi scored on the play and the Giants won a close one to take a 1-0 lead in the best of 3 series.

Game turned out to be a pitching and defensive duel. Both teams relied on outstanding pitching, and solid defense. At multiple points throughout the game each team would get runners on, and what appeared to be the start of a rally, would be diffused by great pitching and outstanding defense.

O's took a 3-1 lead in the 3rd, and managed to make it stand. Braves rallies to push runs across in the 7th and 8th inning was answered by an O's rally in the 8th to make the score 4-3.

Ryan Fulton pitched 5 solid innings in relief to earn the win. Chris Rains earned a 4-out save. Paul Codiga kept the Braves in the game by keeping O's hitters off-balance all game.
