De Anza - Game 1
Royals(18) 11
Reds(18) 8

Royals(18) Win Atlantic Championship 2-0.

WP: Connolly.
HR >> Royals(18): Canter.

Tremendous back and forth game between two teams who left it all on the field!

The Royals didn't have their best game backing up starter Joey Canter, making 7 errors on the day! The Royal offense bailed them out and propelled them to the first Championship in 10 yrs.

The Royals were a spin off of the Astros (Champs 2000) and won it in 2001 only to fold after coming up short in 2002. 2010 was a reunion of sorts when the Royals reformed their squad and finished 3rd. 10 yrs later, champs again!

The Reds fiesty bunch were a great match in the finals and delivered 2 of the most competitive games of the season.

Jeff Canter and Ryan Becks combined to go 9-for-10 on the day with 4 doubles and an HR. Steve Connolly came in the 6th inning and shut the door to wrap up a tremendous year for the lefty! Casey Tauscher came up huge AGAIN in the finals with a pinch hit 2-run single to push the score 11-8 in the 9th.
