Rich Rodgrigues had 2 home runs, 3 hits, 6 rbis! Cole Gummere added 3 hits and 2 rbis. Ryan Becks and Johnny Angleson chipped in with 3 runs a piece. Ray Hutchison (pulled groin) turned in a gutty performace slamming one off the wall to drive in 2 runs!

Steve Connolly Pitched 8 strong innings for the win, striking out 7 phillies.

Mike with a "y" returned to the Royals after being out 8 weeks with a broken hand and provided a spark at the plate and in the field!

Joey Canter turned in a dominant pitching performance going 8 strong, 1 ER, 7 K's.

R Becks went 5-for-5, 2-2b, 2 rbis! Mike with a "y" had 3 hits and 3 runs. Canter, Rodrigues, and Sandoval added 2 hits a piece as the Royals beat a tough Phillies starter who beat them earlier in the season.

Royals now await the winner of the Mets/Reds series to determine the 18+ Champion.

M's hung around in the early innings, and made their move in the middle innings. With the score 9-7 in favor of the Mariners, the O's offense went to work and put up four runs to turn the tables on the M's.

Both teams played very good baseball highlighted by sharp defense.
