Edge-of-your-seat slugfest. Both teams played hard, extremely well, and left everything on the field. Three lead changes in the afternoon.

After the Yankees had seemingly taken a commanding 9 - 6 lead with a three-run blast to center, O's answered with a 4-run rally in their final at-bat to take a the lead right back at 10 - 9.

S. Chase pitched 3 strong innings and kept the O's in it facing down a strong hitting club. M. Brouse held retired the last three hitters in order to hold onto the narrow win.

Orioles:

Astros jumped out to a 11 run lead and held on for a 12-6 victory.

After trailing all game against the Mariners' Hal Levin, the Rays took advantage of some errors to tie things up in the bottom of the sixth. The Mariners scored two in an extra inning to take back the lead and hold on for the win. Mark Rodriguez pitched three solid innings of relief for the victory.

Craig Jones pitched a very good game keeping the Brewers off balance and off the bases most of the game.

The Brewers bats woke up in the first inning scoring 2 runs. The Tigers came back and took the lead when a throwing error by the Brewers catcher cost a few unearned runs for his brother...when a bases loaded triple cleared the bases.
