Well I can't say it was the cleanest game, but it did finish in the time permitted, 2 hr 45 min!

Royals pick up the win minus 4 starters including their all-star CF. Royals pitching was the story holding the tough hitting Braves to 1 hit over 9 innings. Alex Law gets the W with 5.1 innings of one-hit ball and 0 ER. Eric Pini and Justin Kuehn finished off the Braves to wrap up the victory.

Joel Salvatierra was the star of the offense with the lone HR of the game and a double while grabbing a few hits away from the Braves in CF.

Getting his first start of the season, Andrew Thorsett of the Red Sox kept the Mariners in check allowing only 3 runs, even with some shaky defense behind him. Dan England came in for relief and shut the Mariners down allowing only 2 hits the rest of the way.

Red Sox collect 17 hits with Jason Temores and Tony Anderson leading the way with 4 hits each.
