The lead kept changing hands until the fifth inning when the Rays took the lead. But then in the top 7th the Orioles rallied back with 4 runs to take the lead, 11-10. But the bottom of the 7th was the Rays last chance and they were able to load the bases and a few wild pitches by the Orioles allowed the Rays to score and take this one with a final of 11-12.

Pete Madden pitched a gutsy game for the win, while back-to-back pinch hit doubles by Alex Gonzalez (3 RBIs) and Madden (1 RBI), combined with a scoreless two-inning save by Derek St. Louis, helped make their manager look good.

Ageless wonder Hal Levin records his first victory for the Mariners, a seven inning, complete game effort, topping off a day that also saw him go 3-for-5 with a walk at the plate.

Yet another 5-run inning allowed the Mariners to take the lead for good in the 5th.

Other contributors to the Red Sox attack were Lupe Araujo's 3 hits and Jon Lugliani's 2 hits, one a double.

Chris Jensen gets the win with 5 strong innings, striking out 4, followed by a good 4 inning, 4 K relief effort by Andy Sanchez to finish the game.

Game was called due to time limit with the Reds up to bat with no outs and 3 runs scored.

Royals coach, and ex-Reds star Ryan Becks, slammed two home runs over the right field fence.

Reds ace, Paredes threw 6 complete innings allowing 1 earned run off three hits. Reds bullpen made it an interesting game.

Reds slugger Esparza broke out of an early season slump with a moonshot over the center field fence.

Eric Pini was the star of the Royals going CG for the win with everything working against him including a short porch and a horrible Royal defense.
