Braves Win the Pacific Division Championship.

WP: Edmonds.
HR >> None.

Probably the craziest game most of us have ever played in.

After 4 1/2 innings, Braves were ahead 12-3. The Cardinals, never giving up, continued to pound the ball until after the seventh they went ahead 17-16.

Braves put up 3 in the top of the eighth to go ahead by two and the Cards scored one in the bottom of the eighth. Going into the bottom of the ninth ahead by one, Edmonds strikes out the side to end the game.

Marino of the Cards, after going 3-for-3, gets hit in the head in the on deck circle and gets taken away by an ambulance. We wish him the best. Hopefully he is OK.

The Cardinals hit the crap out of the ball all game and never quit. The Braves were lucky to escape with this win.

Braves:
Advincula (4-5, RBI, 3 Runs), Edmonds (2B, RBI), Constantino (3-5, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 Runs), Bellew (3-4, 2B, 5 RBI), Kaye (2 RBI), Codiga (3-4, RBI), Lee (2-5, 2B, 3 RBI), Ramirez (2 RBI), Painter (2B, 2 RBI).
