San José Suffers Heartbreak in 45+ National at World Series!
San José's Ric Foley returned to the World Series after a seven-year hiatus in a dominating way, here throwing
a 4-0 shutout of the powerful San Antonio Bombers on Tuesday at Maryvale Stadium. San José finished atop the 45+ National Division
going 4-2 during round-robin play before having their hearts broken in the first-ever best-of-three championship.
San José dropped the deciding game three to Tri-Valley 18-10 finishing runnerup for the third consecutive year.
