Lou Evans pitched a great game giving up only 2 hits and striking out 12 in a 7 inning complete game shut out.

The Twins New pitcher pitched a great game as well only allowing 2 in 6 innings and striking out 11 (4 in 1 inning).

65 year old Hal Levin (Blue Jays) and Laveroni (A's) went the 10 inning distance for no decisions.

The A's scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th, sending the game to extra innings.

Neither team blinked in a 5-5 time limit time. Very competitive and nerve racking battle.

Close game with missed scoring opportunities both sides.

Mike Pramuk blew a fastball by Matt Orvick with the lead runs on base with 2 outs in the 7th to end a tense close battle. Mike Park had a pair of knocks and 2 runs scored in the low scoring game.

Terrific exhausting afternoon of ball against a group of great guys.

Apodaca pitched a complete game. Very tight game up until the Cards pulled away in the late innings. Apodaca pitched out of 2 bases loaded jams with no outs in the 3rd and 4th innings, only surrendering 1 run.

Baddo pitched well for the Sox.

Mitchell brought the "A" game and threw a complete game shut out. Sox never gave up and battled hard all day.

White Sox are a classy group of guys and always play us tough.

O's hit parade continued with another 17 hits in the afternoon. Yankees came back to take a one-run lead late in the game. However O's mounted a 6 run rally in the final inning to put the game away.

Reds continued their hot streak in Game 1 vs. D-Backs but was flat for the 2nd game and ended up splitting the day with a good D-Backs squad!

Good game to the D-Backs and hopefully we'll see each other in the playoffs for some more good games!

A very exciting game highlighted by great plays and timely hitting on both sides.

The game was scoreless for the first three inings until Cliff Hall pounded a home run in the bottom of the 4th.

After the Indians scored 3 runs in bottom of the 7th to take a 2-run lead, the Tigers tallied 3 to take the lead back in top of the 8th, only to have the Indians score in the bottom of the inning to tie.

Game 2 was another close and exciting contest.

The Tigers opened with 3 runs in the first inning. The Indians scored 2 runs in each of the last three innings to earn the victory in a 6 inning, time-shortened game.
