The Blue Jays scored 4 in the 8th to pull ahead for good in a tight game all the way.

Blue Jay catcher Gino Panelli blasted a pair of dingers and had 7 RBIs on the day. Don Davenport had 3 hits and Mike Park scored 3 runs.

The Padres took a 4-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth before the Tigers scored five runs. Pete Passantino lead off the inning with a double. The Padres battled back to tie the game at 5-5.

The Tigers won the game in the bottom of the 10th inning on a wild pitch and a close play at the plate.

Austin Cisson pitched a gem going 8 innings and giving up 3 hits with no runs. The game was tight through 7 innings when the Diamondbacks put 4 runs on the board to give Cisson some breathing room. Bearden doubled high off the wall in right to help produce the first run in the second inning.

Chris Gresh pitched 8 innings and was terrific. Luis Cardenas turned in the save in a very well played game. Ray Fujii and Adam Ferguson each had 2 key hits. The Twins pitcher was excellent at keeping our hitters off balance and pitched extremely well himself.
