White went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Casteneda went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored.

Game was called after the 6th because of the time rule. It's too bad because the entire game was close. The Indians felt that the Twins New deserved their chance in the 7th inning if nothing else. Time limits in baseball?

Indians hung on to win a windblown second game with funky defense on both sides.

Ybarra prevailed with 8 K's, including 2 in the ninth to close it out.

Woodard also had three hits. D. Chapparo had four hits with three RBIs. G. Colvin had two hits. The Expos acquired five SB as a team.

Expos:
D. Rideau with two double in the game. M. Buford also acquired a double. Defensively M. Buford was a one man team with his DP at first, a hard shot hit at him (a.k.a. atom ball) to end the inning. The hard working pitcher B. Buchanan was working hard as he found a hole for a double. The Expos obtain seven SB this game as a team.

Hard fought game. Score is not a true indicator of this game. Yankees are a much improved team and will give many teams trouble in 07.

Cardinals:
Mike Girard, great day at the plate, 6-for-7, big HR.

Cardinals:
Rob Apodaca, Mike Girard, Ben Hu, and Charlie Prograce combined for the victory against a battling Yankees squad.

Yankees played a good game with only 8 players after Yanks #34 lost his cool and was ejected at the end of the first game.

Game One started real slow for both teams until the 5th where both teams put runners in scoring position. The D-Backs, however, were the only ones to capitalize! Starting pitcher Travis Bearden shut down the Twins offense, allowing only 4 hits in 7 innings.

Warren (1-1, 2B, BB, Run), Lacki (1-1, Run), Bentley (1-2, BB, Run, 2 RBI).

D-Backs came ready to play, scoring 11 runs on 12 hits! Starting pitcher Feduk went 5 to earn the win, striking out 7 while allowing 3 hits.

5 pitchers pitched an inning each. Got to give the win to Mike Drew. 3 up 3 down, all K's in the 4th. Mosley and Caplan again lead the hitting with 2 each. Lots of BB's (Mike Drew 4 times)

Close game for the first three innings, then in the fifth inning the Tigers scored five runs to take and keep the lead.

Tigers:
10 hits including 6 extra base hits. Leanus (2-2, 3 RBI), Mejia (2-4).

The Tigers started the game with the first five batters scoring on five hits including a HR by Frank Risner who went 2-for-4. Tigers scored two more runs and a total of 6 more hits before the game ended in a 7-7 tie.
